ONiYN’s CTO Applicant Avalanche! ONiYN’s advertisement for CTO has resulted in an avalanche of applications from LinkedIN and other sources. At this stage we will be closing applications for this role this Friday 8th April 2016 and want to thank everyone who applied. The level and quantum of applications was outstanding and now we face the task of selecting our preferred applicants to be short-listed. Who Is Loren?
Hi I’m Loren and I’m one of the creators behind ONiYN Networks. Whilst we may seem like a quirky little business, ONiYN has been crafted from a whole bunch of experience and lessons over the past 20 years in Telco and IT. My focus at ONiYN is to look after all things customer, which includes Sales and Marketing.
What Really Matters to Me?
There’s a great unknown by Sir Richard Branson, that states:
“A Business is simply an idea to make other people’s lives better.”
We have adapted this thought with businesses in mind:
“Simply put we believe that every business should have equal access to telecommunications services. After all, you don’t need to be 2,000km from the city to be under-serviced.”
What’s My Goal?
We are currently expanding our team and I am determined to build a great team around our great business. I’ve worked for a lot of great businesses in the past and I believe I know what it takes to make ONiYN soar and have a great time in doing so. But most importantly we have a core philosophy of working with people who treat our customers the way we want to be treated as customers. My goal is to ensure that all of our customers, regardless of size or location get the best possible telecommunications services for their business, not forcing customers to acquire services that are a pick-list in a catalogue, but services designed and implemented for each individual customer.

ONiYN’s First Government Accreditation
Did You Know – ONiYN is GITC and QAssure accredited.
It is strongly recommended by the Queensland Government that Government buyers use suppliers that hold QAssure industry certification and be accredited under the Government Information Technology (GITC) Framework. QAssure accreditation is an independent assurance provided by the Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland that the ICT business is commercially sound. This means that the Queensland Government is confident that ONiYN is a commercially sound supplier to Queensland Government departments and you can be too!

Welcome and Thank You
It’s official, ONiYN’s website is live! Seems only fitting that our first post is a Welcome and Thank You Post. A very big thank you to the Cloudstaff team, who worked the impossible to get the ONiYN website up and running in a very short time-frame.
Here’s hoping the website leaves you a little more informed about who we are and what we’re doing. Our name, Our Network is Your Network (ONiYN) is our network of business peers, colleagues, partners and vendors that we know, trust and respect. We’re taking all that we have learnt and experienced in our varying telecommunications roles to areas that aren’t well connected.
ONiYN was borne from two founders who are passionate about the telecommunications industry. With over 40 years of combined experience internationally, ONiYN is about providing telco based services to business who have poor connectivity options.
ONiYN is a telecommunication company focused on understanding the challenges of poor connectivity and doing something about it. We’re not here to do what others have done before us. We’re here to deliver services where there are none because we believe that everyone should have the ability to connect.
